INVITATION TO TENDER
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR A MINI-GRID BASED ON A SMALL HYDROPOWER PLANT IN NINTULO, GURUÉ DISTRICT, IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBEZIA, MOZAMBIQUE
The governments of Mozambique and Belgium collaborate on the project "Renewable Energy for Rural Development Phase 2” (RERD2) (MOZ 15 034 11) (2018-2023).
This bilateral cooperation project co-managed by the Belgian Development Agency, Enabel and the Energy Fund, FUNAE, aims to increase access to energy in rural areas through investments in renewable energy systems and support mechanisms that ensure sustainability. The project will invest in the construction of mini-grids based on renewable energy.
In order to assist and increase the availability of energy in the Nintulo Locality in Gurué District, Enabel and FUNAE intend to hire specialized consulting services. The consultant should carry out a technical and financial feasibility study of a mini-hydro plant in Nintulo.
Eligible applicants:
National and international consulting firms with experience in carrying out feasibility studies of mini-hydro plants may submit proposals at the address indicated in the Terms of Reference until 27th May 2019 at 17:00 (Maputo time).
