TENDER NR. 197/CE-SPV-DSSE/FUNAE/UGEA/18 ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT AND CONSTRUCTION (EPC) OF PHOTOVOLTAIC MINI GRIDS FOR THE ELECTRIFICATION OF VILLAGES OF MATCHEDJE (NIASSA), NGAPA (CABO DELGADO) and CALANGA-CHÉCUA (MAPUTO)
1. 1. Under the efforts of the Government of Mozambique to increase access to electricity in rural areas, FUNAE – Fundo de Energia intends to electrify the villages of Matchedje, Ngapa and Calanga-Chécua trough photovoltaic mini grids, providing basic electricity services in order to improve the welfare in the communities..
The approach will be off-grid and will consist in photovoltaic generation, storage, Medium and Low voltage distribution lines, where will be connected all the expected clients, including street lights.
2. 2. The sites for the construction of the mini grids photovoltaic system are presented in the following table:

3. In this context, FUNAE invites the eligible and qualified bidders to submit sealed bids, indicating the Tender Number and the Lot to which he proposal refers.
4. It is not mandatory to participate in all the lots. For each lot, the bidders should record its reference and submit separately in duly sealed and identified envelope, as described in pont number 3.
5. For the present tender the bidders are required to have the following license:

6. Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Bidding Procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations (Decree 5/2016, March 8).
7. The Tender Documents are available in the address indicated below from November 20, 2018 between 7:30 and 15:30 o’clock, under a non-reimbursable payment of MT 1.500,00 (One Thousand and Five Hundred Meticais) or its equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
8. The bids must be written in PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE.
9. The bids must be delivered physically in address indicated below by January 15, 2019 at 13:30 o’clock local time.
10. The bids will be opened in the address indicated below at January 15, 2019 14:00 o’clock local time with the presence of the bidders or their representatives who intend to attend the opening session.
11. The bids submitted after the deadline indicated in Point number 7 will be rejected.
